This privacy statement describes how and what person data (in accordance with the Swiss Federal Law on Data Protection [“DSG”]) and/or other personally identifiable information (comprehensively “personal data”) will be collected or used while accessing the public websites www.swiscoffeealliance.ch, www.swisscoffeealliance.com. and www.swisscoffeealliance.com.br (hereinafter “the Websites”) .
Collection of data
When you access the Websites your internet browser will automatically submit the following log data to the webserver:
- Date of access
- Time of access
- URL of the referring website (referrer URL)
- File retrieved
- Volume of data transferred
- Message whether or not the retrieval was successful
- Browser type and version.
- Operating system and version.
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
- Such log data will be stored in a log file for data security purposes and used for purposes of tracking illegal attempts to access the Webserver. A use beyond such purposes will solely be made for statistical purposes in anonymous form.
Search terms entered into the search field on the Websites are exclusively used to carry out the search query and will be stored together with the log data.
The Websites use the WordPress plugin Akismet to identify spam.
Disclosure of data to third parties
SWISS COFFEE ALLIANCE will only disclose personal data collected through the websites to third parties, (a) if the person concerned has expressly consented, (b) based on a legal obligation or (c) if necessary for the enforcement of rights of SWISS COFFEE ALLIANCE, in particular to enforce claims arising from a contractual relationship.
Social Media Plugins
The Web Sites do not contain or use social media plugins.
